      OK, so people say ‘OK’ as a way of saying everything is correct and understood, OK? The first use of it may have been in 1839 and now we use it all the time!

      The use of OK is also to make sure things run well socially. Saying okay makes for a person who is telling a story feel that others are listening so they feel comfortable to carry on telling the story 😀
