      Nobody invented space!

People who study physics spend many hours thinking about how space was created, so far they’ve got a few ideas- there are theories, but it is very hard to prove one way or the other.

We do know that space is expanding and therefore it probably started at a central point of lots of energy and blew up to what space is today. This doesn’t mean they’re right though, we may never know, it’s one of the great mysteries of the universe. But we can try hard to gather evidence and create a theory.

Yeah, space has always been there for, well at least 13.8 billion years.

It was Einstein, however who came up with the best definition of space that we have. He called it the ‘space-time continuum’, meaning that space and time are different sides of the same coin and cannot be separated.

So Einstein invented the best definition of space, so far. We still don’t have a Theory of Everything yet, so there may be surprises up ahead as new things are discovered!
