Question: what have you be working on today

Hi Jazz!
Today is Sunday, so I have been enjoying the weekend, but I can tell you what I did on Friday!
As soon as I got into work I did some heat treatments, I am trying to make steel stronger and one way to do that is it heat it for different times, so I heated my metal to 925 degrees for an hour.
Once it was finished, it cut it to a smaller size and polished it so it was as shiny as a mirror!
I had a lot of reading to do too, I do practical work but have to work hard to understand the science of what I am doing, so that I can work out what to do next.
It was “Friday Pieday”, so at lunch time I shared the pie I had made for me and my friends and drank some tea.
After lunch I used the microscope to look closely at the steel to see what it looked like, then on Monday I will see how hard the steel is.
I love what I do as each day it is different
