• Question: Is there any benifits or downfalls of being the only two girl scientists?

      Hi Jess, this is a really interesting question!
      It is good there is almost a 50/50 split, but this isn’t always the case in science. Some fields are female dominated and others there are more males!
      The benefits – I can answer the questions about girls easier, but that is obvious.
      We can also show other girls that it is not just males who work in science and can do well!
      The downfalls – I’m not sure there are any in “I’m a scientist!”
