• Question: how long does it take to fly around every planet one after the other

      Wow if we could do this it would be amazing.
      If we include the 9 planets in our solar system; Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto and start at the sun it would take around 50 years to fly around from the sun, around all the planets and back again.
      This is if we are in a rocket which is travelling 18,000 miles per hour – the speed needed to travel away from earth. The rocket would have to travel the 3.67 billion miles from the sun to Pluto and back again!
