On average, Saturn is about 1.4 billion kilometres away from the Sun, which is about 890 million miles. This is about nine and a half times as far away from the sun as we are here on Earth.

Notice how I said “on average”? Saturn (and every other planet in our Solar System) is never the same distance away from the Sun all the time, because it goes around the Sun in a shape a bit like a squashed circle. This means that as Saturn goes around the Sun as part of its orbit, sometimes it is closer to the Sun and sometimes it is further away. Anyway, if you do plan on going, it’s going to take you ages to get there!

Good to see Ross has this covered!
I will also add that it take Saturn 29 years to travel once around the sun, while it takes Earth 1 year!
