I am very careful and I have had no injuries, and touch wood I won’t.
I work with some chemicals which if you touch with bare hands will make your hand die from the inside, so we have to wear the correct clothing and be extra careful.
When I heat steel I heat it to over 900 degrees, so also I have to be careful not to burn myself, or set anything on fire!
The people who run the labs are excellent and make sure that we are fully trained so that we don’t hurt us or others around us, so there is never an fear when I am working of injury!
