No, I don’t think they will ever be able to stop all types of cancer as there are so many different areas of the body which can get ill, but we can fight it.

I do think that the way we are able to make more of those ill with cancer better.
Cancer is a “mutation” where the cells in the body change in a way they shouldn’t. We might be able to slow down the change or completely get rid of the bad cells.

We are a lot closer than we have ever been before to stopping cancer, we are able to spot it earlier and are making new ways to stop it.

      Hello!

I agree with Aimee in that cancer is not just one disease, but many different types of related disease. This means that we will never really have one single cure for it, but we are making good progress.

Scientists right now are looking at ways by which they can make our immune systems better at finding cancer cells in the body and getting rid of them, which is really exciting stuff. This might be one big step towards treating these horrible diseases.
