      Great question!

      The number of hard bones in your body actually changes as you age. During development, you start with zero bones, and only a soft cartilage pattern that is in place of where the bones will then form. The cartilage hardens as the baby grows in its mother’s womb. Newborn babies have 270 separate bones, some of which, as you grow and mature, merge together to form only 206 bones as an adult.

      All bones are super important! If I had to chose only one, probably the vertebra in your neck that attaches to your skull is probably very important, as its a very delicate area.
