      Oooh, good question!

We have been able to take DNA from animals and put it into different animals for some time now. We’re especially good at doing this for animals we study in the lab, like fish, worms, flies and mice. We’re not really so good at doing it with many other animals.

It would be technically possible to do this, because DNA is the same for all types of animals, but I don’t know if our technology is that good yet. Also, we would have to ask why we’d want to do it! Why would you want to put human DNA into a fox? Another thing worth pointing out is that human and fox DNA is very very similar, so I’m not sure what differences would come about if we did do this crazy experiment 😛
