My worst experiment…hmmm many have gone wrong 🙂 but that’s how we learn. The worst one was probably back in 2010. I was studying shore crabs to see how climate change would affect them. I went out to the shore line and collected over 100 individuals of a special crab species, called the common shore crab. I brought them back to our water tanks in the laboratory and gave them dinner (white fish). I then left them in the tanks for a few hours whilst I went home for tea. I didn’t realise that I had left the water running in the water tank…. When I came back , the lab was flooded! I cleaned up the water with a dustpan and brush for 7 hours 🙁 it was a long night!
