      The most interesting chemical I’ve worked with, that I can remember, is either tetrodoxin (Puffa fish toxin!) which stops your nerves and neurons from working, very dangerous! Or paraformaldehyde, which crosslinks biological material so that we can freeze tissue (like mouse brain) in time and look at it under a microscope allowing us study it in a very detailed manner.
