• Question: what happens if the earth stops spinning?

      That would be crazy :O
      I had to look this up, but apparently if the Earth stopped spinning the air around us would carry on moving! As the Earth spins at about 1100 miles an hour everything which wasn’t attached to the deeper layers of group, even trees and houses would be ripped up. I thought the wind the last few days was bad, but this would be awful!
      Don’t worry it won’t stop spinning!
