      Brains originally were very simple, they evolved because they gave organisms with brains an advantage over those who didn’t have brains, like evading predators, gathering food and mating. Some scientists think jellyfish-type creatures first evolved a simple brain, which helped them to move in a directed manner – rather than randomly!

      Since then, brains have evolved functions for sight, smell, touch, hearing and just about everything you can think of… Get it? 😀
