I haven’t invented anything yet, I use other people’s inventions to help me do my science – I have ideas, which I came up with myself, like an invention.
I also don’t have any potions that I make, but I do have recipes for chemical mixtures that I make up all the time – kind of like potions, but I wouldn’t drink them, they’re for the cells!
Turns out I have invented something! I made a 3d-printed micro-chip that moves cells around in little bubbles of water droplets in oil. You can have different parts to it that you can plug and play – a lot like a lego set! I’m pretty proud of it but it’s a very niche thing I guess. It’s supposed to help improve making bacteria grow in the lab help in moving them seeing them with microscopes, at the same time being cheap and easy to make. Maybe you can make one like it if you can get your hands on a 3D Printer!
My current position so far is PhD Student! And I do have lots jars of chemical concoctions if thats what you meant. Lots of acids and stuff! Safety first though!
